A great website is only as good as the data in it.  To ensure the integrity of the Greatjob system, we have designed and continue to design ways to ensure the Greatjob website is a source of reliable information that you as a client or service provider can trust.  To do that we need to ensure that any data collected is reliable.   So to verify and protect your personal information that you pass to us, we have established a number of recognised security measures to ensure you feel comfortable about using our website.

SSL Certificates

When you sign-up with Greatjob, you will notice that the registration page where you enter your personal details has two or three features that notifies you that the page you are entering details into is secure. You will generally find these same two or three recognised features exist on many of Australia's banking and financial websites where you enter your personal information including Credit Card numbers.

  1. Small gold padlock symbol on the right hand side of the address bar or near the bottom right hand corner of your web browser (shown on all secure web browsers)
  2. The web address in your address bar starts with "https:" (shown on all secure web browsers)
  3. A Blue or Green bar with the secure top level web address name in your address bar before "https:..." (shown on the latest versions of many web browsers)

What this means is that from the moment you enter your information and press "Next" or "Submit", the data is electronically encrypted and transported securely to our Greatjob Server. To protect your Credit Card information, we encrypt your Credit Card information and sent it securely to eWAY for safe storage. Greatjob uses a SSL Certificate (which does the encryption) from a globally recognised web security agency called Thawte.

Greatjob uses eWAY, an Australian company, to safely store your credit card information and make secure internet payments. eWAY's clients include Qantas, Optus, Australia Post and others. eWAY are a Tier-1 PCI DSS compliant payment gateway provider. The Greatjob website has been reviewed by the National Australia Bank and has been approved for an Internet Merchant Facility. We use the NAB internet merchant facility in conjunction with eWAY.
